Take a holiday tour of Iosco County’s most festive homes with the Historical Museum this winter. The 18th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes takes place on December 3rd and is sure to put you in the holiday spirit or inspire you to get decorating your own home! The local homes that make up the tour showcase their family traditions and Christmas spirit, expressed in home décor. Tawas Point Lighthouse is also decorated by the Friends of Tawas Point State Park & Lighthouse for the tour, as well as open for its “Christmas at the Light” evening on December 7th; the Lighthouse also will have its own Christmas store open to purchase souvenirs or gifts for those at home.
Upon arrival at the Iosco County Historical Museum, you’ll get your tickets, map, and brochure of the home tour. The Museum itself will be decorated, so take in the appetizer of Christmas decorations along with the atmosphere of music and sweet treats to truly absorb the festivities and energy of the holiday.
