AuSable River Queen Season Opens Memorial Day Weekend
May means much more than warm weather to those of us that live along the AuSable River. It means one of our top attractions is open for business again! Starting Memorial Day Weekend, the AuSable River Queen starts her season of two-hour round trips on the waters of the beautiful and scenic AuSable River.
Besides being famous for its trout, the AuSable River flows through the Huron National Forest and the 23-mile stretch from Mio Pond to Alcona Pond was designated a National Wild and Scenic River in the 1980s. Aboard the AuSable River Queen, you’ll get to personally experience the only paddlewheel riverboat of its kind as well as the breathtakingly beautiful river. Live music is provided on the AuSable River Queen for an entertaining weekend and refreshments are served at the snack bar.
Tickets to ride the AuSable River Queen are just $15 per adult. Plan your visit to the scenic AuSable River today with a luxurious stay at the Huron House!
