Try Local Food at the Northeast Michigan Regional Farm Market
Almost two decades ago, the Northeast Michigan Regional Farm Market was started with only a few vendors. A small group of locals displayed their locally grown produce at only a handful of stands. Since then, the market now averages twenty vendors that also share information and a wealth of knowledge about the healthy benefits of specific fruits, herbs, and vegetables, but also recipes, saving money, and how to start growing your own food. Michigan is the place to learn about this stuff, too, since the state is matched only by California in agricultural production and diversity.
