Minutes away in East Tawas, you’ll find Red Hawk Golf Course, proud member of the Arthur Hills Michigan Golf Trail. Carved out of 205 acres of forest, mature pine, oak, maple, beech and birch trees make dramatic backdrops to the expertly manicured fairways.
Greenbush Golf Course, which can be found on Facebook, is a 15-minute drive north of Oscoda. The holes are playable yet challenging in their own unique way, making this a must for the recreational player. Players especially enjoy the 88-yard par 3 with the island green. Take notice of Greenbush’s clubhouse, known as an area landmark located just off the train tracks on US-23.
USGA-certified Loggers Trace/Springport Hills Golf Course is thirty minutes away. Nestled in and out of wooded terrain, Loggers Trace is an 18-hole layout offering large elevation changes and great views of Lake Huron from a 100-foot overlook. Springport is the original nine with challenging greens and rolling hills.
