
Taste Delicious Beer and Food in Tawas this August
Besides a delicious breakfast, it may be best not to spoil your appetite on August 3rd. Instead, come hungry to Tawas Uncork’d Wine, Ale, and Food Festival at East Tawas Harbor Park from 12-6PM. Discover what Michigan really tastes like by sampling the local wines, ciders, and craft beers of more than 100 vendors. Local food vendors will also be on-site. Tawas Uncork’d also serves as the annual fundraising event for a new library in East Tawas.
The event features local Michigan vintners, area restaurants, and some of the best breweries in the region in the scenic setting of Tawas on the shores of Lake Huron. If it’s your first time in Tawas City, explore the lighthouse at Tawas Point State Park or some of the unique shops along Bay Street in East Tawas.
The 11th Annual Tawas Uncork’d Wine, Ale, and Food Festival takes place on August 3rd from 12-6PM in East Tawas’s beautiful Harbor Park. Entry tickets to Tawas Uncork’d are just $15 each and all attendees receive a souvenir wine glass upon entrance along with three tasting tickets. Wine tasting tickets are $1.00 each.
